Maybe, Baby

My camera is working again (it was the rechargeable batteries not the machine that didn't work) and I'm going to the game tomorrow so I'll hope to get some pics up for ya'll on Friday, after I get out of work for the holiday weekend and after I finish cleaning up my apartment for my mom and sister's visit but before I go see the Yankees play some kindergartners in Flushing.

XOXO, my preciouses.

Hi!

Hey, baby. How you doing? Listen, my camera is jacked and my life is crazy so I don't know when I will get to do another post. I'll aim for soon but can't make promises (that I will break anyway).

In the meantime, I still love you. And such.

That Was Pathetic

I went to the game tonight with Dave and felt utterly embarrassed for the second night in a row. It's sort of like the Yankees aren't even trying and they know they'll get their paychecks despite the absolute crap job performances they deliver. If I approached my job like that, my boss would have my head - after she fired me. Good thing I love my job and my clients.

How do we get the Yankees to care that much? Cervi was the only one who played with any heart tonight and that is likely because he knew he had to show it or his appearances behind the plate may come fewer and fewer.

And yes, darling, I know AJ pitched tonight. No, sweetie pie, I don't care to discuss that or his swelling ERA one bit.

Good night, all. And rest in peace, sweet Shadow.

Mets and Braves: In Which I Get Really, Really Naughty

We sat in the right field box seats and before my camera batteries died, and while I got a few pictures of game play...
Go, Mets batters, go (who are you?)

Most of my pictures were of Braves Right Fielder, Joe Mather...

And mostly from this angle...

Uh-huh

Beers at Citifield are cheaper than beers at Yankees stadium. I think I had five Bud Lights (?) and that lubricant led to some not-so-family-friendly cat calls to Mather. The most noteable that if he turned around and looked, I would give him a tit treat...

He did look, ever so quickly, as he was jogging back into position during the 5th inning. It was a quick little glance up, but I saw it, and while Ash, Christina and I kept our bodies covered, we did give him a little shake. Hopefully he had nice dreams that nice...

Then he got moved to Center and what's his face from the 2009 Yankees went to right. Not the same, kind of like the above view of Beltran in right.

Hit me up on your next trip to NYC, Mr. Mather.

What does tomorrow hold?

Los Mets!

A Queens girl has gotta see her Queens boys from time to time (Image/MLB)

The Yankees are still out of town - and HOT, HOT, HOT - but I am jonesing for some baseball-in-the-flesh, so tomorrow, Ash, Christina (remember her?) and her friend Drew from Cali will be doing it up in Flushing and watching the Mets (hopefully) beat the Braves.

Then, we'll be hitting Jimmy's to watch the Yankees play at 10:10 - and have Baby Joey pour whiskey in our mouths straight from the bottle.

Pics this weekend! Go New York baseball teams!
